Note
This article describes the TikTok integration in Clipchamp for personal accounts. The integration isn't available in Clipchamp for work or school accounts.
If Send to TikTok is available on your export page, use it to send your video from Clipchamp to TikTok for review.
Before you send
Before you use Send to TikTok in Clipchamp, check that your exported video meets these requirements:
| Requirement | Supported value |
|---|---|
| Format | MP4 video, not GIF |
| Duration | 3 to 60 seconds, inclusive |
| Aspect ratio | 9:16 (portrait) or 1:1 (square) |
| File size | Less than 50 MiB (shown as 50 MB in Clipchamp) |
These requirements apply only to Clipchamp's TikTok integration. TikTok's own upload requirements can differ.
Send your video to TikTok
- Create or open a video in Clipchamp, or start from a TikTok template. Make sure the video meets the integration requirements.
- Select Export. In the Export video dialog, choose a video quality, select Export again, and wait for the export to finish.
- On the export page, select Send to TikTok. If this option isn't listed, see If you can't send from Clipchamp.
- If prompted, select Connect to TikTok. Sign in to the TikTok account you want to use, follow the permission prompts, and then return to Clipchamp.
- Select Send and wait for Clipchamp to confirm that the video was sent.
- When TikTok notifies you that the video is ready, open the upload notification from your inbox in the TikTok app. Make sure you're using the same TikTok account you connected to Clipchamp. Review the video and its privacy settings, and then select Post.
If you can't send from Clipchamp
If Send is disabled, wait for the export to finish, and then check the requirements in the TikTok sharing panel. Adjust the video and export it again if needed.
If Send to TikTok isn't listed, or you can't connect or upload, save a copy of the exported MP4 video to your computer and upload it by using TikTok's app or website. TikTok's own upload requirements and account restrictions still apply.
