To close a personal Clipchamp account, use a desktop or laptop browser.
- Sign in to Clipchamp with the personal account you want to delete.
- Open account settings.
- At the bottom of the settings page, choose the account deletion option.
- Follow the prompts to confirm. You’ll be signed out after submitting the request.
- Watch for the confirmation email when deletion is complete.
You can also use the account deletion request link in this article on a desktop or laptop. If prompted, sign in with the Clipchamp account you want to delete.
Before deleting
- Deleting a Clipchamp account removes its Clipchamp projects and data. Deleted data can’t be restored.
- Deleting a Clipchamp account does not delete your Microsoft personal or family account.
- If you have Clipchamp Premium, cancel the subscription in your Microsoft account first. Account deletion doesn’t stop Premium billing.
If the delete option or page doesn’t work
- Confirm you’re signed in to the correct personal account. If needed, sign out and sign back in with the right email address.
- Use a desktop or laptop browser, not a mobile browser.
- Try another browser or an InPrivate/private window.
- Turn off extensions that may block sign-in or page scripts, then reload.
- If it still doesn’t work, contact Microsoft support with the account email, browser, and a screenshot or short description of the issue.
Work or school accounts
Work or school Clipchamp accounts are managed by your organization. You can’t self-delete them like personal accounts. Contact your Microsoft 365 admin or IT help desk to request account or data removal.
Clipchamp on iOS
The Clipchamp iOS app is no longer available. To request deletion, use a desktop or laptop browser.
After deletion
While deletion is processing, you can’t sign in to Clipchamp with that email address. After deletion is complete, you can use the same email to create a new Clipchamp account, but it won’t include previous projects or data.
