To add captions and subtitles to a video or audio in your presentation

On the Review tab, select Check Accessibility.Â

Select the desired video or audio clip on your slide.

On the Accessibility tab, select Insert Captions.

Select a caption file in WebVTT or SRT format in UTF-8 encoding for your video or audio.

To generate live subtitles during your presentation
