You can add links to the body of email messages and display them as either full website addresses or any text that you choose.

Insert a hyperlink

  1. In the body of your message, position the cursor where you want to add a link and select the Insert link  Insert Hyperlink button Outlook for Mac button (or press the shortcut keys Command ⌘+ K).

  2. In the window, you can specify what you want the hyperlink text to Display as, then add your Web address (URL). If you prefer the link to be displayed as a full hyperlink address, you can leave the Display as box blank.

  3. Select OK.

Change text into a hyperlink

  1. To insert a hyperlink, select the text you want to hyperlink and select the Insert link  Insert Hyperlink button Outlook for Mac button.

  2. In the window, enter the address for the link and select OK.

Remove a hyperlink

  1. To remove the text of a hyperlink, place your cursor within the link text in the body of your message.

  2. In the Format menu (or press the shortcut keys + K), select Hyperlink  Insert Hyperlink button Outlook for Mac, and then select Remove Link.
