When viewing a video in the Clipchamp video player in Microsoft 365, you can turn noise suppression on or off to reduce background noise in the video.

Open a video you want to watch, for instance through a link someone sent you or by navigating to the video on the Clipchamp homepage in Microsoft 365.

In the lower-right corner of the video player, select the Noise suppression icon to turn it on or off. It is visible when you hover over the video with your mouse pointer.
How to tell if noise suppression is enabled?
When noise suppression is on, a gray bar will appear beneath the Noise suppression icon.Â
When noise suppression is off, no gray bar will appear beneath the Noise suppression icon.
Video owners can set the default
If you are the video owner, you can set a video to play back with noise suppression on or off by default. To access the setting, open the Video settings >Â Noise suppression entry in the menu on the right-hand side of the video.
