Supported audio and video formats
The following audio/video files can be played directly from your Microsoft 365 in most browsers: 3G2, 3GP, 3GPP, ASF, AVI, M2TS, M4A, M4V, MKV, MOV, MP3, MP4, MP4V, MTS, TS, WAV, WEBM, WMA, WMV
Tips:Â For the best video playback experience, we recommend the following video encoding settings:

Video - H.264 / MPEG-4 AVC, 30 fps, using these approximate bitrates based on resolution

~8 Mbps or less for 1080p

~5 Mbps or less for 720p

Audio - AAC, 384 Kbps or less
If a file doesn't play, the format might be one that either Microsoft 365 or your mobile device doesn't support.
