Upload a video

To upload a video or audio file in Microsoft 365 so that you can play it on its Clipchamp player page or share it with others in your organization, it's the same steps as uploading any kind of file into OneDrive and SharePoint.

  • In your web browser, go to the Clipchamp homepage, your OneDrive or SharePoint account.

  • Select the Upload button on the page. Depending on the user interface you're in (Clipchamp, OneDrive, SharePoint), it's called 'Upload' or 'Create or Upload'.

  • Choose a video or group of videos and select OK. Or you can drag videos into your browser window to upload them.

After the file is uploaded, it will appear in your files list, and you can select it to launch it in the player or share it with others via the Microsoft 365 sharing option.

It's also possible to upload a file when you're on the video player page of another video. On the player page, there is an Upload menu item at the top above the player window.

Download a video

You can download a video or audio file from its player page in Microsoft 365 or from its folder in OneDrive/SharePoint if you are the file's owner or have edit permissions. Here's how:

  • Open the file in OneDrive or SharePoint, so that it launches its player page in the browser. In the menu at the top, select Download.

  • Alternatively, navigate to the file in OneDrive or SharePoint, select the file and choose Download. Or select the three dots next to your file and select Download.
