You can open Staff Notebooks from OneNote, Microsoft Teams, or OneDrive. The right place to look depends on where the Staff Notebook was created.

Tip: If you are not sure where your Staff Notebook was created, open it in OneNote, right-click the notebook name, and select Copy Link to Notebook. A link with /personal/ usually points to OneDrive. A link with /sites/ or /teams/ usually points to SharePoint/Teams.

Open Staff Notebooks in OneNote

If the notebook is already open in OneNote, select the notebook list and choose the Staff Notebook you want. If it is not listed, use one of the paths below.

From your web browser

  1. Go to aka.ms/staffnotebook and sign in with your school account.

  2. Select Manage notebooks.

  3. Select the Staff Notebook name.

  4. Select Open Notebook.

In Teams

  1. Open Microsoft Teams and select your staff team.

  2. Select the Staff Notebook tab.

  3. Open the notebook that is already set up for the team.

Use OneNote Staff Notebook in Teams

In OneDrive

  1. Sign in at microsoft365.com and select OneDrive.

  2. Select Staff Notebooks to view notebooks you created with the Staff Notebook Wizard.

  3. If you are a staff member or co-owner, select Shared with me to view Staff Notebooks shared with you.

  4. Select the notebook by name.
