Support for Windows 10 will end in October 2025
After October 14, 2025, Microsoft will no longer provide free software updates from Windows Update, technical assistance, or security fixes for Windows 10. Your PC will still work, but we recommend moving to Windows 11.
Support for Windows Server 2016 will end in January 2027
After January 12, 2027, Microsoft will no longer provide free software updates from Windows Update, technical assistance, or security fixes for Windows Server 2016. We recommend that you upgrade to a later version of Windows Server.

Symptoms
The DHCP Server service might intermittently stop responding after installing this security update. This issue affects IP renewal for clients.

How to get this update
Before you install this update
To install any Windows 10, version 1607 cumulative update released on or after January 14, 2025, you must first install the latest Servicing Stack Update (SSU). If your device or offline image does not have the latest SSU installed, you cannot install this update.
Caution Until you install the SSU, this update will not be offered to your device. To reduce your security risk, install the SSU as soon as possible.

If you use Windows Update, the latest SSU (KB5060954) will be offered to you automatically. After the latest SSU is installed, you will be able to install this update.

If you use Windows Update for Business, the latest SSU (KB5060954) will be offered to you automatically. After the latest SSU is installed, you will be able to install this update.
