Microsoft Copilot is your AI companion designed to help you with a range of tasks and activities. Activity history is a record of the things you type in Copilot and the AI-assisted responses you receive from Copilot.
To manage your Copilot activity history, start by signing in to the privacy dashboard with your Microsoft account.
Manage activity history for the Copilot app
To manage your activity history for the Copilot app:

In the dashboard, go to Privacy > Empower your productivity > Copilot > Copilot app activity history.

You can select either Export all activity history or Delete all activity history.

If you select Export all activity history, a comma-separated values (CSV) file is downloaded to your device. Open the file to review your activity history.

If you select Delete all activity history, review the information in the Are you sure you want to clear your Copilot activity history dialog. If you’re sure you want to clear this information, select Clear.

Manage activity history for Copilot in Microsoft 365 apps
To manage your activity history for Copilot in Microsoft 365 apps:

In the dashboard, go to Privacy > Empower your productivity > Copilot > Copilot in Microsoft 365 apps activity history.

Select Export all activity history.

A comma-separated values (CSV) file is downloaded to your device. Open the file to review your activity history.
These steps apply to the following Microsoft 365 apps:

Manage activity history for Microsoft Copilot
Note: The following information only applies if you used Microsoft Copilot prior to October 1, 2024.

In the dashboard, go to Privacy > Empower your productivity > Browsing and search and open the Copilot activity history section.

Select Clear all Copilot activity history and search history and review the information in the Are you sure you want to clear your search and activity history dialog. If you’re sure you want to clear this information, select Clear.
