There are many different ways to leave feedback on student assignments in Class Notebook. Audio and video feedback can feel more personal than written comments and help students hear your tone and encouragement.

Tip: Limit audio and video files to 90 seconds or less to provide the best OneNote experience possible.

Leave written feedback

Type, draw, or write on student pages in OneNote. Feedback you add can be seen in real time by your students.

Record and embed audio feedback

Go to the student’s assignment and make an audio recording in OneNote. Your student can listen to your feedback from the same page. Learn more here: Record Audio in OneNote

Record and embed video feedback

Go to the student’s assignment and make a video recording in OneNote. Your student can watch the video from the same page. Learn more here: Record audio or video notes

Add stickers

Go to the area of the page where you want to leave feedback. Select Insert, then Stickers. Select the sticker and drag it wherever you'd like!
