How to purchase from the Microsoft Store using a work account
Buy Surface devices, accessories, and Microsoft 365 Business subscriptions at exclusive business pricing through the Microsoft Store.
Before you beginÂ
To make a business purchase, you need:Â
-
A work account or business email address from your organization.
-
A valid payment method.
-
A shipping address in the United States.
Sign in with your work account
-
Go to microsoft.com and sign in or sign up with your work account.
-
Enter your work email address and complete your organization's sign-in process.
Important:Â
-
Business accounts have a business banner, and the sign-in icon will show your work profile pic or an ID card image:
-
Your work account has a separate cart, so make sure you are using your work account before browsing and selecting items. Your cart contents will not carry over between personal and work account sessions.Â
-

Browse and add itemsÂ
-
Browse Surface devices, accessories, or Microsoft 365 Business products.
-
Products will only have business pricing when you're signed in with your work account.
-
Choose and configure the items you want then select Add to cart.
Check outÂ
-
Select the Cart icon and review your items.
-
Check that your items have business pricing because you're signed in with your work account.
-
Select Checkout and continue completing your purchase.
Billing and paymentÂ
-
Select a billing profile or create a new one if your role has the right administrative access.
-
Add or select a payment method.
-
Enter or select a shipping address.
Review and place your orderÂ
-
Review your order details, including items, shipping, payment, and total cost.
-
Accept the terms and conditions.
-

TroubleshootingÂ
I don't see business pricingÂ
-
Make sure you're signed in with your Work account, not a personal one. Sign out and sign back in with your work email if you need to.
My cart is empty after signing inÂ
-
Items added before signing in go into your personal cart. Sign in with your work account first, then add items. If items you selected are missing from your business cart, they may still be in your personal cart. To get business pricing and manage the order with your other business purchases, you must add the items again while signed in to your Work account.
I can't complete checkoutÂ
-
Verify that your payment method is valid and not expired.
-
Check that your billing profile information is complete and that your business account is in good standing.
-
Make sure your shipping address is in the United States.
-
Contact Microsoft Support if you still can’t complete your purchase.
