Use Copilot shortcuts to edit your Microsoft Copilot Page

Note

  • If you have a work or school (Entra ID) account, Copilot Pages is available to those who have SharePoint or OneDrive storage, including ones without a Microsoft 365 Copilot license.
  • If you have a personal Microsoft account, Copilot Pages is available if you're a Microsoft 365 Personal, Family, Premium, or Pro subscriber. Learn more about Microsoft Copilot licensing  and Microsoft Copilot plans.

Use Copilot shortcuts to quickly refine and improve your content in Microsoft Copilot Pages. With built‑in options for adjusting content, changing tone, and styling your page, you can update drafts in seconds. Shortcuts help you make fast edits, preview changes, and stay in control of what gets shared with others.

How to use Copilot shortcuts

You can use Copilot shortcuts to quickly refine and improve your page. 

  1. In the lower right corner, select the Copilot shortcuts button. You can also use the keyboard shortcut, Alt+U.

  2. Select any of the following:
  • Adjust content - Ask Copilot to add details, make it shorter, or turn your content into an email or blog post.
  • Change tone - Ask Copilot to change the tone of your content to be more professional, friendly, sincere, or assertive based on your intended audience.
  • Style page - Ask Copilot to add emojis, section headers, an introduction, or conclusion to your content. You can also structure your page by adding all of these styling changes at once.

If you haven’t yet shared your page, Copilot will apply your selected shortcuts automatically, keeping edits private. Changes made by Copilot are highlighted for easy review.

If you’ve shared your page, you can preview and edit revisions before they’re visible to others. This keeps you in control of what’s shown. To keep the new revision, select the check mark icon. To go back to the original, select the back arrow button.
