Import in new Outlook

You can access emails stored in an .pst data file in new Outlook. You can browse, manage, and move emails (drag and drop) between .pst files and mailboxes.

Important: Calendar and contacts items saved in .pst files will not be accessible in this version.

However, importing emails, contacts, and calendars items isn't available in new Outlook at this time. Follow future releases at Microsoft 365 Roadmap site.

Tip: While you can't use a .pst file at this time, you can use a .csv file. See Import or export contacts in Outlook using a .csv file.
