Privacy in Viva Learning
Viva Learning collects different types of information to enhance your learning experience. We use this data to personalize your user experiences, provide tailored recommendations for learning content, and help improve the service.
This type of data includes:

Personal information like user profiles and preferences.

Usage data like course completion, interaction metrics.

Feedback data provided by users on the learning content.
This data is not used for content-based targeting or advertising purposes.
Viva Learning also integrates with various content providers and learning management systems (LMS) through connectors to allow organizations to bring content from sources like LinkedIn Learning, Microsoft Learn, Microsoft 365 Training, and Workday.
Viva Learning stores data in Microsoft cloud services and data centers to security compliance and availability for enterprise, government clouds, and EDU SKUs.
As a data processor, Viva Learning is controlled by the organization’s admin, the data controller, as per the Online Service Product Terms. Admins can recommend content to learners on top of personalized recommendations, and learners can share content with each other.
You can view and search learning content in the Viva Learning app. Organizational admins have additional controls to export and delete data on users and usage records through the admin portal.
