If you don't see an option to cancel or turn off recurring billing, try the following:
-
Check who you bought it from. If you purchased a Microsoft 365 subscription from a third-party retailer such as Amazon, Best Buy, or Harvey Norman, please contact them directly to manage your subscription and billing. If you purchased a Microsoft 365 subscription from Google Play or the Apple App Store, contact their customer support for cancellation or refund.
-
Check the account. Make sure you're signed in with the same Microsoft personal account that purchased Microsoft 365. For any queries with your Microsoft 365 work or school account, contact your organizations IT Admin.
-
Check the billing cycle. If you see "Turn on recurring billing", this means your subscription will expire at the date shown and you can continue to use the product until that date. You don't need to do anything else.
-
Check your credit cards. Check the payment card that is used to pay for your subscription has not expired. If there is money owing, you cannot cancel until any overdue amount is paid. For more help, see Change the payment method for a Microsoft subscription.

Troubleshoot still paying for a subscription?
If you see on your bank statement that a payment has been taken, it could be for the following reasons:
-
You cancelled too close to the billing date. Cancellations must be more than 2 days before the billing date. Go to Subscriptions and check the subscription end date.
-
The wrong Microsoft account was used. If you don't recognize a charge on your account, you can now investigate it on the Manage your payments page of your Microsoft account dashboard. Learn more about How to investigate a billing charge from Microsoft.
