Using Copilot Vision with Microsoft Copilot
Microsoft Copilot Vision is a new way to have AI work with you as you navigate the web in Microsoft Edge. When you activate Copilot Vision, it uses voice to answer questions about what the page you are reading and can suggest what to do next.
You must sign in to Copilot to access Vision. Copilot Vision is available to all Microsoft Edge users. Subscribers to Copilot Pro receive extended usage of Vision.
How Copilot Vision handles your data
Copilot Vision handles your data in accordance with Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.
When using Vision, only Copilot’s responses are logged to enable monitoring of unsafe interactions and outputs. User inputs, images, and page content are not logged or stored. Once the Voice session ends, this data is deleted.
Vision does not engage directly with the web on your behalf—it’s there to answer questions rather than take actions. Copilot Vision may highlight portions of the screen to help you find relevant information. It will not click, enter text, or scroll on your behalf.
The first time you use Vision in Windows, Edge, and Copilot Mobile, Copilot will ask you to acknowledge a privacy notice.
Vision is not available to users signed into Copilot or Edge with a work or school account.
