What's new with mobile device companion in the Start menu?
You can now quickly access your Android device or iPhone® directly from the Start menu. This includes easy setup for new users, access to phone features like messages and calls, and the ability to share files between devices - all from the Start menu.
Requirements

A PC running Windows 11 or later.

Phone Link version 1.25032.82.0.

Your Android device and PC both need to be connected via Wi-Fi.

Your iPhone® and PC connected via Bluetooth LE

How do I connect my Android or iPhone® to my Windows PC from the Start menu?

Open the Start menu.

Select your device type (Android or iPhone®) from the pane.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection.
How do I enable or disable mobile device content from showing in the Start menu?

Open Settings on your PC.

Select Personalization.

Scroll to Show mobile device in Start toggle on or off to hide or show your mobile device in Start menu.

Select Send Files from the Start menu to transfer files between your Android or iPhone® and your Windows PC.
