Report messages in Microsoft Teams
If you see a concerning chat or channel message with internal or external users in Teams, you can report it as either a security risk or inappropriate content.Â
To report a message:Â

Go to the message and select More options

Depending on your organization, you may be able to choose your reason for reporting the message. Review your selection, then select Report. ​​​​​​​

You'll receive a message confirming your report was sent.
Note: If you don’t see the option to report a message, or can't select a reason for your report, check with your admin. Currently, if you're using Copilot in Teams, you can't report a message in the Copilot app.Â
