Save a chat or channel message in Microsoft Teams
Easily save chat messages and channel posts for later reference in Teams.
To save a message or post, hover over it and select More optionsÂ
Once you have saved one or more messages, you’ll see a Saved section at the top of your list of chats and channels. This is where all your saved messages and posts appear.
Filter your saved items by selecting chats or channels under Saved.
To view a saved message in context, go to Saved and select the message. The chat or channel will open in a new pane, showing you the message or post within the chat or channel conversation.
To remove a post or message from Saved, hover over it, select More options

If you have no saved messages or posts, you will not see the Saved section.

If the author of the message edits the message after it’s saved, the saved message will reflect those edits.

If a message is deleted after it’s saved, the message title will still appear in the Saved section with the note Message has been deleted by author. Selecting the deleted message will still open the chat or channel so you can see the deleted message in context.
