Create a poll in Microsoft Teams
Polls let you get helpful feedback on questions by making a real-time poll right in a chat or channel in Teams.
Create a poll

To create a poll, select Actions and apps
on the right side of Compose box where you type your message. If Polls isn’t in the menu, select Find more apps or select Apps on the left side of Teams. -
Enter your question followed by at least two choices for answers. Polls suggests some responses, which you can choose, or type your own in the Option boxes. Select
Options to add more answers. -
Turn on Multiple selections to allow users to choose more than one answer.

Optionally, select Record names of respondents. Only you see the responses.

If you want, select Share aggregated results with respondents.

When you're done, select Preview to review your poll.Select Edit to make updates or select Send to publish your poll to the message or post.
Responding to a poll

To respond to a poll, people choose an option on the poll card and select Submit Vote. As they vote, you'll see updates to the response summary on the poll card.
View and organize poll results
To view results and other poll details:

If you created the poll, you can view the results by selecting More in the poll card.
The Responses Overview page in Microsoft Forms shows the following details:-
Whether the poll is active or inactive.

The number of poll responses.

The average time people spent in the poll.

The duration or length of time the poll is available to respondents.

The number of responses for each answer.

If you selected to record participant names, select More details to see the name and answer of each participant.

To organize poll results:

To view results in a spreadsheet, select Open results in Excel.

To see results for each participant, select Check individual results.

To delete results, print a results summary, or share a link to poll results, select More options for responses

Manage a poll

Select More on the poll card to open the result view.

In the upper-left corner, select Back to questions.

Select Settings
. Specify who can fill out the form, the types of responses, and whether you're notified of each response.

Create a poll

To create a poll, tap Menu (…) below the box where you type your messages in Teams and select the Poll app. If the app isn’t in the list, then install it through your desktop or browser.

Enter your poll question in the Poll app followed by at least two choices for answers. You can add as many as 10 choices to a poll.

Set a due date for the poll and restrict who can see poll results in Settings.

Tap Next to preview and Send to publish your poll.
To respond to a poll, choose an option and tap Submit Vote. As people in your group or channel vote, you will see updates to the response summary.
View your poll result
To see the results of your poll, tap View Result.
Participation Summary shows the response list along with the participants’ choices. The list of people who didn’t vote on the poll is in the adjacent tab. Tap Back to return to the result summary view.
Manage a poll
Note: This is available only to the person who created the poll.

Tap View Result on the poll card to open the result view.

Tap Menu (…) at the top right corner of the result view.

Tap Confirm in the pop up to continue with your selection.
