start ambient recording

Starts recording the patient encounter. Make sure you've obtained patient consent prior to recording.
This voice command is currently not available in Dragon Copilot mobile.

open/show dictation clipboard

Opens the dictation clipboard.

minimize window, close Dragon (Copilot)

Dragon Copilot desktop only: Minimizes the app window. If Dragon Copilot is in standard or narrow view, the app switches to compact view; if Dragon Copilot is in compact view, it's minimized to the taskbar.

maximize window

Dragon Copilot desktop only: Maximizes the app window to standard view.

provide/send Dragon (Copilot) feedback

Opens the product feedback form.
This voice command is currently not available in Dragon Copilot mobile or in third-party apps when working with Dragon Copilot desktop.

microphone off, stop recording, stop listening

Turns off the microphone when dictating; not supported for ambient recording.

Dragon <spoken form of the prompt>

Insert and work with texts Executes the specified prompt. For example, say Dragon apply my style.

<spoken form of the text>

Inserts the text verbatim at the cursor position. If your administrator has configured a keyword for text insertion (for example, 'insert'), you must say it before or after the spoken form of the text. For more information, contact your administrator.

accept defaults,  clear field delimiters

Accepts the default value of all text fields and removes all text field delimiters.

field complete

Accepts the default value of the text field with the cursor focus and removes the text field delimiters.

next/previous field

Navigates to the next/previous text field or text control (memo, note section, etc.).

next/previous section, go/move to next/previous section, go/move to next/previous field

Navigates to the next/previous text control (memo, note section, etc.).
This voice command is currently not available in third-party apps when working with Dragon Copilot desktop.

first/last field

Navigates to the first/last text field or text control (memo, note section, etc.).
This voice command is currently not available in Dragon Copilot mobile.

first/last section, go/move to first/last section, go/move to first/last field

Navigates to the first/last text control (memo, note section, etc.).
This voice command is currently not available in Dragon Copilot mobile.

(go/move to) start of section, (go/move to) start of field, go/move to top

Navigates to the beginning of the text control with the cursor focus.
This voice command is currently not available in Dragon Copilot mobile.

(go/move to) end of section, (go/move to) end of field, go/move to bottom, go/move to end

Navigates to the end of the text control with the cursor focus.

(go/move to) start/end of paragraph

Places the cursor at the beginning/end of the paragraph.

(go/move to) start/end of sentence

Places the cursor at the beginning/end of the sentence.

move/go to <section name>

If the Note tab is open, navigates to the corresponding section of the note. If the section already contains text, the cursor is positioned at the end of the text.
If you're working in split view, with the Note tab open in both views, the voice command is executed in the pane showing the current version of the note. If no pane shows the current version, the command is ignored; if both panes show the current version, the command executed in the left pane.

Cuts the selected text and copies it to the clipboard.

paste that

Pastes the contents of the clipboard.
This voice command is currently not available in Dragon Copilot mobile.

compound that

Joins the selected words together into one word.

spell out

Enables you to spell out a sequence of letters and numbers. For example, say spell out capital m u r p h y.

resume with <text>

Continues editing from the specified text.
This voice command is currently not available in Dragon Copilot mobile.

go back

Returns the cursor focus to where it was before the previous selection command.

insert before/after <text>

Puts the cursor focus before/after the specified text.

undo that, undo it, undo this, undo last action

Undoes the previous operation.
This voice command is currently not available in Dragon Copilot mobile.

redo that, redo it, redo this, redo last action

Reverts the last 'undo that' operation.
This voice command is currently not available in Dragon Copilot mobile.

select (the) first/last sentence

Selects the first/last sentence.
This voice command is currently not available in Dragon Copilot mobile.

select (the) next/previous sentence

Selects the next/previous sentence.
This voice command is currently not available in Dragon Copilot mobile.

select this sentence

Selects the sentence with the cursor focus.
This voice command is currently not available in Dragon Copilot mobile.

select (the) first/last word

Selects the first/last word.

select (the) next/previous word

Selects the next/previous word.

select this word

Selects the word with the cursor focus.

all caps that, format that uppercase

Formats the selected text or the last thing you said as capital letters.

cap that, format that caps, capitalize that

Capitalizes the first letter of each selected word or all words of the last thing you said.

no cap that, format that lowercase, lowercase that, no caps that

Changes all capital letters to lowercase in the selected text or in the last thing you said.

all caps on/off

Starts/stops writing everything you say as capital letters.

caps on/off

Starts/stops writing everything you say with the first letter of each word capitalized.

Starts/stops writing everything you say with the first letter of each word in lowercase.

new line

Moves the cursor to a new line.
This voice command is currently not available in Dragon Copilot mobile. In third-party apps when working with Dragon Copilot desktop, it works only if the environment is fully supported by Dragon Copilot.

new paragraph

Moves the cursor to a new paragraph. This voice command is currently not available in Dragon Copilot mobile. In third-party apps when working with Dragon Copilot desktop, it works only if the environment is fully supported by Dragon Copilot.

press enter

Simulates pressing the Enter key on your keyboard.

press space

Simulates pressing the Space key on your keyboard.

press backspace

Simulates pressing the Backspace key on your keyboard.

press tab

Simulates pressing the Tab key on your keyboard. In Dragon Copilot, as in many other apps, this navigates to the next text field or text control (memo, note section, etc.).

transfer all

Transfers all memos or note sections to the cursor position in your app.

transfer selected

Transfers the selected memos or note sections to the cursor position in your app.

transfer <section name>

Transfers the corresponding section of the note to the cursor position in your app. For a list of section names and their alternatives, see: Navigate to note sections.
