Accept or deny requests to join a team in Microsoft Teams

Accept or deny pending requests
Team and channel owners can accept or deny requests for membership.

From combined chat and channels or the separate teams view, select More list options .

Select Your teams and channel to be taken to Your teams page.

Select Pending invites.
Tip: Don't see these options? From Teams , select More channel options > Pending invites.
Request to add a member
Any team member can request to add someone to the team.

Go to Your teams page, then locate the team you'd like to add someone to.

To the right of the team name, point to reveal, then select More options > Add member .

Type the name or email of one or more people, then select Add. Team owners will receive an alert that they have a pending request.
