Get an audio overview of your notebook with Microsoft 365 Copilot Notebooks

In Microsoft 365 Copilot Notebooks, you can create an AI-powered audio overview that transforms the content of your notebook into a dynamic, conversational audio experience. Whether you're reviewing project updates, brainstorming ideas, or catching up on meeting summaries, your notebook audio overview ensures you stay informed in a convenient and engaging format.

Note: A Microsoft 365 Copilot license is required to use Copilot Notebooks, which is currently rolling out. Additionally, accounts must have a SharePoint or OneDrive license (service plan) in order to create notebooks. Copilot Notebooks is not available for personal Microsoft accounts, like Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscribers. Create an audio overview about your notebook

In Notebooks, open a notebook or create a new one.
Select the Get audio overview button under the chat box.

Note: To generate an audio overview, your notebook must include at least one reference file, such as a Word document or a OneNote page.
Once your audio overview is generated, it will start playing automatically.
You'll find the Audio player in the lower right corner of your screen. Within the Audio player, you can:

Change the speed.
Skip backward by 15 seconds.
Play or pause.
Skip forward by 15 seconds.
Delete the audio overview by selecting More , and then Delete this audio overview.
Select the thumbs up or thumbs down icons to provide feedback about the audio overview experience.

To replay your audio overview at any time, select the Play audio button under the chat box. Play audio button in Copilot Notebooks

Tip: If you added more reference files to your notebook and want to regenerate your audio overview, first delete the audio overview from within the Audio Player, and then select the Generate audio overview button again.
